|
Day.1 Arrive to Katmandou,
welcome to the airport, transfer and installation in hotel 2
stars, very near of themal , very quiet and very clean own, 2
minutesf rom the Centre of Thamel 10 minutes on foot to the DURBAR
SQUARE of the Kathmandu. (the chinese embassy is open that only
Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the morning . you need to be
arrive in Nepal before these days. To Leave to Tibet tour you
have to leave from Kathmandu on Tuesday and saturday one of these
days to be able to leave for Tibet. When you will take your Chinese
visa in France it can be automatically cancel to go in Tibet)
will you have another visa for tibet tour.
Day.2. Visit of SWAYAMBUNATH and BODHNAT supers
temple and Stuppa of Buddhist. Afternoon free.
Day.3 KATHMANDOU, depart early
in the morning by minibus to ZHANGMU, passage of Kodari border
at " Friendship bridge". Formalities of passage in
Tibet which can take 1/2 an hour to 3 hours... In principal jeep
or Land Rovers we wait you just after the bridge, but in case
of bad road condition, climb towards Zhangmu in discover truck
(1h). If the formalities aren't so long, change Chinese money
from your arrival at the bank of Zhangmu. If the change can't
take place at arrival, needs to wait in bank opening time for
the next day morning before leave.( lodging in Guest House).
Day.4. Departure by jeep from
Zhangmu following by SAGA river, we climb at 4000m altitude,
discover of PAIKUTSO lake and the mount of SHISHABAMA. (tent).
Day.5.
Depart
from SAGA camping by jeep to rejoin PARYANG (Alt 4100m), along
the journey of rocky sand mountains chain and the PARYANG River,
we can appear wild antelopes in road and mount LOPU GANGRI 7098m.
Day.6. Departure PARYANG to
HOR by jeep on the way, between Paryang and Hor, we discover
NYOGZE lake and MANASARAWA lake (Mansarovar) (4.510 m). We well
meet certainly Tibetains nomad. (don't be astonished if they
"pull the tongue" to you this is a sign of welcome
in tibétain). (In tent)
Day.7/D.8.
Circuit
around the Manasarawa lake (4.510 m), and of Rakas Tal lake where
Tibetan nomads make their camping. Lake, it makes also a part
of pilgrims in Kailash for tibétans. (In tent)
Day.9.
We'll
leave Manasarawa lake to rejoin DARCHEN (4302M) by jeep lodging
in Guest-House.
Day.10/
D.11/ D.12.
Trekking (Circumambulation) around of Mount Kailash following
as pilgrims who turn around the sacred mount in ritual sense,
crossing by the red cliff of LHA CHU cave then climbing by the
Domala pass 5600M which is get round of Mount Kailash. GAURIKUND
lake at 5400m, where the pilgrims are take a ritual bath and
do some offerings then coming down toward the Zutrul monastery
before continuing toward DARCHEN. (About 5h of walk per day)
Transport of all camping materials, of kitchen, of lodge etc…
and the luggage of participants . Carry (kept ) by the yaks.
You can hire a yak to transport you during these 3 days.
Day.13. Departure from DARCHEN
by jeep and return for PARYANG. (Night In tent)
Day.14. Departure from PARYANG
by jeep to SAKA. (Night in tent)
Day.15.
Departure
from SAKA by jeep to return in ZHANGMU, night in Guest-House.
Day.16. Departure from ZHANGMU,
formalities of Chinese exit post, cross by walk of "Friendship
bridge", nepali formalities at Kodari and return by bus
to Kathmandu (about 5h). Return in same hotel.
Day.17. Free day in Katmandu.
Day.18.
Morning
free, transfer at airport 2 and 1/2 hour before the flight of
your plane. |

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |
