a good physical condition. One of the best varied approach of
Nepal. A trek that starts from Langtang to end up in the Helambus.
Views
of numerous Himalayan peaks and discovery of the sacred lakes
of Gosaikund, an important pilgrimage site. Crossing of villages
of different ethnic groups ( Sherpa, Tamang, Brahmin, Tibetan)
with welcoming and smiling villagers all along the way. Terraced
fields, rhododendrons, orchids, and forests according to the
altitudes. A thoroughly absorbing trek far from the busy trekking
highways. Max Alt.: A STOPOVER AT 4300m (in GOSAIKUND) AND
A PASS AT 4650m (in LAUREBINAYAK). |

D.1. Arrival in Kathmandu,
welcome in airport and transfer to hotel. Hotel Included
D.2. Free day in Kathmandu
,Hotel included.
D.3. Leaving Kathmandu for
DHUNCHE (1850m) by local bus (6h), big Tamang village, point
of starting of trek.
D.4. Leaving DHUNCHE for
SHABRU (2250m), beautiful village, beginning of Langtang, superb
views of GANESH HIMAL (the mountain of elephant-head god).
D.5. Leaving SHABRU for SHIN
GOMPA, a cheese producing Tibetan monastery. Uphill walk through
a very beautiful forest upto SHIN GOMPA (3250m).
D.6. Leaving for the holy
lakes of GOSAIKUND (4380m). The lakes are often snow-covered
in autumn and spring.
D.7. Leaving GOSAIKUND (4380m)
for GHOPTE (3430m) by crossing the pass of LAUREBINAYAK at 4650m.
D.8. Leaving GHOPTE for MELAMCHI
GAON (2650m) by passing through THAREPATI PASS (3565m). MELAMCHI
GAON, a very beautiful and welcoming Sherpa village. Here, we
enter into the region of HELAMBU.
D.9. Descending MELAMCHI
GAON towards Melamchi Khola river and proceeding up towards TARKHEGAYANG
(2700m). This village is inhabited by the Sherpas and the Tibetans
and there is a temple and a small Tibetan monastery. (5h)
D.10. Descending from TARKHEGAYANG
towards TIMBU (1800m), a small Brahmin village.
D.11. Leaving TIMBU towards
TALAMARANG and MELAMCHI PUL BAZAR. Return to Kathmandu in local
bus. (5h). Same hotel in Kathmandu. Hotel included

Treks
in lodge with standard hotel:
welcome at airport,transfer
hotel / airport. standard hotel with breakfast inclusive rooms
with shower, hot water near the center of Thamel. All treks are
in full board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges (good
quality locale food, the meals are not order by each client in
every lodge, but following the menu proposed by the guide).
All the transports (go/back on the places of trek and during
the trek). Accompany by a professional Guide and one porter for
2 persons to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking
permit and reconfirmation of your return plane ticket.

professional Guide, kitchen boy and porters. Lodging under tent,
meals are prepared by cook. |

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
