This easy hike,
take place in a superb region, very rich in various cultures
according to altitudes. Cultures are in terraces (Rice, wheat),
you will cross many villages of different ethics (Tamangs, Sherpas,
Tibétains, Brahmanes), with the welcoming and smiling
villagers who browse trails that you will borrow. Of immense
forests of Rhododendrons (from 2000m) with trees of 10m of top,
that bloom in Mars/Avril, and a lot of hanged orchids to mosses
of trees. An authentic region little touched by the tourism panoramic
...Vueses on the big Himalayenses tops, notably to Tarkhegayang
and Sarmathang. (1000m of made uneven, the 3eme day) .This hike
can make himself all year (including December/January) |

|
|
Day1: Departure from 2 River Lodge(1400m) for
the small village of TIMBU (1800m) about 5 hours walk.
Day 2: Day a few more difficult, departure
from TIMBU for THARKEGAYANG Sherpa village and Tibétain
to 2700m of altitude with temple and small monastery. (6h at
7 hours walk). To the departure of TIMBU stiff enough rise during
3h about until KAKANI (1000m of made uneven). from 2000m, wild
Rhododendron Forests of which some reach 10m of top, flowering
in February. March and April. Several varieties of orchids according
to seasons
Day 3. Departure of THARKEGAYANG by paths of
Crête for SARMATHANG (2700m), Buddhist village and brahmines.
A superb panoramic view on chain himalayenne, to see behind the
temple of Sarmathang.
Day 4. Departure of SARMATHANG to return (march
in coming down) to the Lodge of the 2 Rivers.. |

Treks
in lodge:
welcome at airport,transfer
hotel / airport. All treks are in full board. Accommodation and
meals in the Lodges (good quality locale food, the meals are
not order by each client in every lodge, but following the menu
proposed by the guide). All the transports (go/back on the
places of trek and during the trek). Accompany by a professional
Guide and one porter for 2 persons to carry your bags (maximum
20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking permit and reconfirmation of your
return plane ticket.

Trekking equipments,
professional Guide, kitchen boy and porters. Lodging under tent,
meals are prepared by cook. |

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |
